We are a unique company, because we ideate, create, and market our products ourselves.

In the late eighties I got my first computer, the Acorn Electron. Immediately I became fascinated about programming and the craftmanship of software development. From then on, the computer became my biggest interest and the only logical direction for my carreer.
I'm very proud to be the co-founder and part of the daily management of Impala Studios, a company where we can focus on pure quality, in coding as well as in graphic design. This brought us to the place where we serve millions of users per day with our utilities, making their lifes a little bit easier.
Being a semi professional poker player a couple of years, taught me to always think about the long run instead of choosing for short term benefits. I use this a lot in my daily life, as well as for all decisions in my professional carreer.

We have managed to combine functional design with very usable products. To me design is not what it looks like but how you use it. Our users have very different demographics, age, gender and interests. Students, Grandparents, Doctors, Pilots, Entrepreneurs and most likely You! I like to think of what you need before you know it yourself! :)

The culture at Impala Studios can be described as open-minded, informal and dynamic. We all have the same goal in mind, which is to develop the best mobile applications in the market. There is plenty of room for own ideas and initiatives and at the same time, we also like to have fun!

Hi! Since 2012 I have enjoyed working at Impala Studios.
I enjoy working with people and have a caring attitude. What I like about my job is that it is so diverse. I arrange everything in and around the office, such as groceries, lunch, and administration. I like structure and overview.
My passion is traveling. In addition, I like good food and a good film or series at its time. My favorite food is Italian. I love animals. I have a malteser myself. Her name is Macey.
I love working in software development! Where else are you surrounded by so many smart people? Where else are you paid to fiddle around with iPads? In all seriousness, though: working for Impala Studios means banding together with professionals from all fields, to create solutions for everyday problems, that people actually want to use.

“I find that ducks' opinion of me is very much influenced by whether or not I have bread.” - Mitch Hedberg. In the same way, I find that our users’ opinion is very much influenced by whether or not we deliver valuable software.
That’s where my part comes in: together with Paul, I decide what bread we should feed the ducks. It’s a never-ending puzzle that requires the knowledge and input from developers, designers, UX, QA, and Customer Service. And that’s what makes this work so exciting: solving interesting problems with interesting people. "
We live in a time in which people are very much attached to their smartphones and tablets. I don't know about you, but my devices are almost glued to my hands. I don't wear a watch, I don't have enough mathematical skills to use my brain. Also, I like to keep up with the weather forecast whenever I want. That's why I packed my devices with our apps, to make my busy daily life so much easier. Are you going to do that as well?
If you are interested in a professional collaboration or want to feature our apps, please don’t hesitate to contact me by email: marketing@impalastudios.com
I get a lot of inspiration for my work from my background in retail and graphic design.
Planning things ahead, presenting our apps the best way possible, and staying at least one step ahead of the changes in the app world are important parts of my job.
I like the fact that our apps are used by millions of people -men, women, old and young- from all over the world. That tells me that we offer products which are essential, useful and universal.
And that's why I go to work with a big smile.

I'm an empathetic UX designer with a great passion for the digital world. I got into this field with the goal of helping people by making their lives easier and better through my designs. I'm Swedish-Israeli raised in Hungary living in the Netherlands, which contributes a lot to my identity crisis.
Do you know the guy who gets a reminder 15 minutes before the Apple keynote is about to start, to make popcorn and grab a beer? That's me!I am a guitar player, concert junkie and culture lover.
I like to prank my colleagues sometimes, but can't keep a straight face, so I always get caught.
3D and 2D Design - Pencil and Digital - Hobby and Work - Colleagues and Friends, that is me at work in a Nutshell.
Put Design and Communication together, then you will find the intersection which my heart beats for.
At Impala we love to work to make life better for everyone. From research to the celebration, everything is created with love to generate love, and the responsibility to break the news to our dear users is a huge pleasure.

Designers should be the bridge that connects the users, development, marketing and business. This is what I am trying to achieve at Impala Studios. Here you can also learn how to work with the amazing people and more importantly, deliver a fantastic user experience to our users.
In case you are wondering what makes me so happy in the picture, I was eating an ice-cream.
Studied Industrial Design at the TU Delft and graduated at the master Design for Interaction.
At Impala Studios I’m responsible for the ideation and design development of our apps, striving for the best user experience.
Besides working on apps I have a passion for cycling and running. I also have the ambition to become the best foosball player at the company.
I’m always trying to find ways to connect the work I do to my personal values. This is why quality is fundamental to my life. I joined Impala Studios as the QA Test Engineer at the beginning of 2019. While the company’s portfolio is getting bigger and bigger and existing applications are getting daily updates, it is vital that a clear testing strategy adapted to the company’s needs is established. This is how I aim to add value here at Impala Studios.
I also believe in naps, good food, good books, great friends and long talks among other things and I do my best to take it one day at a time.

Before joining Impala Studios i’ve created dozens of web applications and mined numerous databases.
My favorite poem: Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF, i’m on team #00FF00 and we love to make apps for you!
I’m Daniël. Avid semi-competitive gamer. Together with my robot companion I’m slowly working towards creating an AI that can participate in certain everyday tasks. Unfortunately, the gaming often tends to get in the way.
I’ve been at Impala Studios since mid-2014, and between the relaxed setting, the autonomy and the focus on quality over the extremely pragmatic ‘it works’, I think I’ve found quite a nice place to work at.
I am fascinated by how the internet changed the world during my lifetime. No more 5 km bicycle rides to a library for the answer to your question. I think the high availability of information in all directions is both handy and scary.
I studied two years mathematics and four years theatre. My working career started as an actor and director. After ten years of performing all over the world, I wanted to use more of the analytical side of my brain. I started my career change in 2012. In 2017 I obtained my Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Amsterdam.
Hi, I'm Mike.
Since I was young I have always had a passion for software and the IT industry in general. I joined Impala Studios (back then called Crunding) in February 2014 as an intern during my study in IT. After my internship I stayed and worked part-time as a member of the Android team.
After my graduation in February of 2016 I started working full-time within the Android team. During this time I worked on all of our Android apps including: Video Tube, Slots+, Weather+ and Flight+.
In June of 2016 I made the switch from Android to iOS and since them I've been working mainly on iOS apps and frameworks. Aside from that I also worked on several back-end services.
What I like about Impala Studios is that you get the creative freedom to experiment using new technologies.
Hi, my name is Maarten. I am working as a Junior iOS Developer at Impala Studios.
Early 2017 I graduated from my bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam in The Netherlands. My interest for Mobile Development came from hobby projects and multiple courses offered during my study.
I did my graduation internship at Impala Studios and experienced how a job as Mobile Developer would be. It is challenging and great!
When I was studying Interaction Technology I learned a lot about the new and upcoming technologies regarding User Interaction and User Experience. Nowadays hundreds of apps are created every day, but people often underestimate the importance of Usability.
During my education, I learned about all applications of Usability, but Mobile Development has always intrigued me. I started my journey at Impala Studios as an intern and was very happy to hear they wanted me to stay as a Software Developer. Learning every day and getting new challenges is what makes it the best job I could have wished for.
My passion for software development dates back to Graduation, and after a while working in Investment Banking in Brazil I decided to take a shot at it professionally here in the Netherlands.
It’s been a great period so far working at Impala, experiencing dynamic working days in a great environment! Learning something new every day and being able to contribute to several successful apps keeps me always motivated.
When I’m not coding I enjoy playing poker, watching tennis and creating my own apps.
"When I got an iPod Touch 2nd generation back in the days, I was amazed about the possibilities of apps.
That was the main reason I started to study information technology after I finished secondary school.
At the moment I'm in my last year of the study.
When the time came to start searching for an internship company to start the graduation project, I had no doubt to go to a place where they make native iOS apps.
That is how I came to Impala Studios."
